Several lunch options are available within walking distance. Vending machines are available in the training area. Bring a cart or wagon to carry your equipment. Ample parking is located at the Football field area. (There are programming options for Mac, but the programming software that will be used at the training is only compatible with a PC.) If you need your school's IT department to do this prior to the event, email me for instructions, at will be at a premium so get to campus about 7:30am. You will also need a PC computer that you can download the programming software. During the training, you will build Flex (IQ) or Clawbot(VRC). If you do not have a robot kit, you will be partnered with other teachers to share and learn. The event will be held from 8:00-3:00 each day at the Oakley STEM Center on Tennessee Tech Campus (highlighted on the attached map.)īring your own robot kit including batteries and chargers.
